"It was an absolute pleasure meeting and doing business with Tony Olivo and his son Dom. Very professional, very fair price and outstanding results. I've been dealing with a water problem in my basement for YEARS. So glad I gave Tony a call to see if he'd stop by to see what could be done to divert rain runoff away from our house. Tony stopped out a couple of days later, walked the property and offered a reasonable solution based on his years in the business. You could very easily tell he's been there and done that. He and his son came back out the following Friday and very quickly got down to business. By the end of day a new swale was in place, new fill and top soil was placed and graded as needed including in another part of the yard where another contractor hadn't bothered to return to finish up a sewer tie-in. Tony also insisted I call if, after a storm or two, anything still wasn't quite right and he'd come back out to make it right. I mentioned to Tony when he came out for the initial estimate that I was worried a job like mine wasn't worth his time. Tony assured me it was and commented that day and while actually doing the work that he and his son enjoy what some might consider a 'small' job. He also commented that he enjoys helping people solve problems like the one I had and based on my experience he was sincere about that. Give Tony a call. "The project we wanted to complete was the demolition of our 32 year old 18x40 in ground concrete swimming pool. We saw the Olivo Excavating Co. picture ad in the West Side Leader newspaper with a listing of work that this company did. One project listed was swimming pool fill in. Just what we wanted done.

Tony came out and gave us a detailed estimate which included items we needed to have done before he could begin the job, such as move the buried electric line and the property line fence, which we did.

Both Tony and his son Domenico are very skilled in doing this kind of excavating work. To watch Tony manipulating those huge excavating machines was very interesting. They were very careful not to damage any part of our concrete patio as they jack hammered the sides and bottom of the pool to fill in the big hole. Tony packed down and leveled and shaped the ground of the entire area. He accomplished everything he said he would when he gave us the original estimate. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer man to work with on this project. We are very happy that we found such skilled and efficient workers for this major project.
